Can WLED work with Google Home?

Yes, through BHL Cloud on supported Bright Home Lights controllers. Default WLED usually needs an additional bridge or advanced smart-home setup. BHL Cloud provides the customer-friendly Google Home integration path while WLED remains the lighting engine.

How to connect WLED lights to Google Home

Complete the controller and BHL Cloud setup first. Interface labels can change as the apps improve, but the supported connection path remains the same.

  1. Connect the controller to BHL Cloud

    Sign in to BHL Cloud from the Bright Home Lights app or web app, then confirm the supported controller appears online in your account.

  2. Open Integrations

    Open Settings, choose Integrations, and select the Google Home connection for your BHL Cloud account.

  3. Link your Google Home account

    Follow the account-linking prompts and authorize Google Home to access the supported Bright Home Lights devices or scenes in your BHL Cloud account.

  4. Assign, test, and build routines

    Place the lights in the correct Google Home room, test a basic voice command, and then add the supported lights or scenes to everyday, holiday, or accent-lighting routines.
